[photopress:LogoIBM.gif, full, alignright]IBM and Intel have launched the first Energy Competency Center (ECC) in China. It will supply oil and gas companies in the Asia Pacific region technologies to extract hydrocarbon deposits more effectively.

‘The mission of the ECC in Beijing is to collaboratively develop technologies and solutions that can help to meet the incredible demand for energy in China,’ said John Brantley of IBM.
