InterContinental Hotels Group has launched Hotel Indigo on the Bund in Shanghai (it actually opens next month).
At the launch IHG showed a 3-D film that provided information about the hotel’s historic location. The film was shown on the 23-meter wide and 69.9-meter high facade of the new Hotel Indigo and was the largest outdoor screening of a 3-D film anywhere in China.
Examiner.com reports that the 184-room Indigo Shanghai is directly on the Huangpu Riverfront. Aside from the Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund, there are also plans to open new Hotel Indigos in Xiamen, Taipei, Hong Kong and Bangkok within the next three years.
