Indian exports to China thriving

in fiscal year 2001-02, by 63 per cent in 2000-01 and by 31 per cent in 1999-2000. In the period since 1998-99, China's share of Indian exports has risen from 1.3 per cent to 2.7 per cent. The principal items are iron ore, primary and semi-finished iron and steel, other processed minerals, chemicals and machinery.
