Insurer AIG's China unit set for first fund launch

AIG's China asset management joint venture will launch its first mutual fund next week, Reuters said, citing JV sources. No target amount was given, though regulations stipulate funds must raise a minimum RMB200m. The prospectus said the fund would invest in China stocks with growth potential and target retail investors.
