Intel has announced it would locate the global headquarters of its Channel Platforms Group (CPG) in Shanghai's Minhang District, state media reported. CPG focuses on Intel's worldwide expansion by creating new platforms to meet the computing needs of local markets. Intel will employ tens of thousands of product designers, researchers and IT employees for its new site.
