Internet watch over annual parliamentary session

China will censor Internet content during its annual parliamentary session commencing this weekend, monitoring chat rooms and message boards around-the-clock to keep watch on those with "ulterior motives," state media reported. While China favors the Internet as a business tool, it is concerned that people can access information considered subversive or politically sensitive. The government shut down more than 12,000 Internet bars last year.
