Japanese businessmen back to China as relations thaw

A group of powerful Japanese business leaders are set to meet with China’s Vice-Premier, Wang Yang, on Tuesday in Beijing as part of a long-running annual business tour that was delayed last year, South China Morning Post reported. The delegation, lead by Fujio Cho, the honorary chairman of Toyota Motors (7203.TYO) and chairman of the Japan-China Economic Association, has asked for meetings with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang but has had the request denied. The tour was put on hold last year over a territorial dispute.
