Jingkou Government pushes for investment

JingkouTwo investment conferences will be held by China’s Jingkou District People’s Government at the beginning of May in Houston and San Francisco. The future development of Jingkou will focus on the following three main fields: large-scale projects such as ship-building and logistics; second, a modern service industry; a software research and development center.

After acceptance as legal entities, investors in Jingkou District will have legal protection on property ownership, usage rights, operation and management rights, decision making power on employment and legal income disposal rights.

The key enterprises will be the Zhenjiang Xinminzhou Port Industrial Park and Jingkou Industrial Park.

Xinminzhou Port Industrial Park is going to be transit port for logistics. It is located on the north shore of the Yangtze River, in the middle area of the NingZhenYang Delta covering an area of 22.5 square kilometers.

Zhenjiang is located at the convergent area of the Yangtze River and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.The government is committed to upgrading Zhenjiang city by introducing modern service sectors.

Zhenjiang has an in-zone highway, a main line railway, a city railway and an international Dagang Port with 139 berths. Among the berths, there are 20 for 10,000-ton class vessels, and 50,000-ton class vessels can be moored anytime.
