Kim Jong Il in China for talks

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il entered China by train for a four-day visit with Chinese leaders to discuss the North Korean nuclear program, according to South Korean news reports that cited unidentified Chinese diplomatic sources. The reports said that during the visit the two sides will discuss North Korea's nuclear standoff with the US, boost bilateral ties and discuss economic and energy aid by China to North Korea. The visit to China is Kim's first since January 2001.
