North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il may visit China next week, a news report said Thursday. The visit follows a controversial missile test in July by the reclusive state and growing concerns over its development of nuclear weapons. Quoting media reports, Reuters reported a diplomatic source in Seoul said Kim will discuss a possible nuclear test with Chinese President Hu Jintao. US news reports last week also said North Korea is preparing for a nuclear test. But North Korean experts remained skeptical about any possible visits by the controversial leader to China, saying Beijing may not feel welcoming after the unnecessarily provocative missile tests last month.
