North Korean leader Kim Jong Il said he would renew multilateral talks on dismantling his nuclear-weapons program, Pyongyang’s official news service said. Talks have been stalled since November, when North Korea said it would not take part until the US dropped sanctions imposed against its firms. Kim, after a visit to southern China last week, agreed with Chinese President Hu Jintao to "push forward through sustained joint efforts the six-party talks�, and said he was committed to "denuclearizing" and implementing agreements signed in September.
