Kuehne + Nagel plans expansion

Swiss freight forwarding firm Kuehne + Nagel plans to open seven mainland offices in the next year and a half. The decision comes after new regulations were put into place to liberalize the logistics business in China. Cities where the firm plans to set up include Wuhan, Hubei Province; Chengdu, Sichuan Province; Chongqing Municipality; Xian, Shaanxi Province; Wuxi, Jiangsu province and Dongguan, Guangdong Province. The firm received regulatory approval in March to change its Shanghai office into a full-fledged branch.
