The head of the Lamborghini brand in China expects the market for so-called super sports cars in China to slow to a single-digit growth rate this year from about 15% in 2013, The Wall Street Journal reported. Andrea Baldi, the managing director of Volkswagen’s (VOW.FRA) Automobili Lamborghini China, said that while forecasts vary among makers of these exotic cars, with some suggesting growth of as much as 15%, he expects a lower rate. Lamborghini estimates that 1,925 luxury sports cars overall were sold in China last year, an increase of 14.6% from the 1,679 sold in 2012.
