For the fourth year running, Lancaster University has secured a top 30 place in the Financial Times Global MBA ranking.
The university has strong links with China, having established the Lancaster China Management Centre. Now it has signed an agreement with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) to collaborate on a number of areas relating to environmental sciences. Under the deal, the two institutions will work to develop postgraduate and staff training, exchange programs, summer schools and research opportunities.
The 2010 Financial Times Global MBA league table ranks the Lancaster MBA 24th in the world, 10th in Europe and 4th in the UK. This puts the university on a par with a cluster of internationally renowned business schools, such as Oxford and Cambridge in the UK; NYU, Dartmouth, Yale, Northwestern, Duke and UCLA in the US.

England’s NorthWest reports that the areas in which Lancaster particularly excelled were "value," where it was ranked 3rd in the world, and "career progression," where it was placed 9th in the world. It was also ranked best in Britain on "salary increase" –  the class of 2006 achieved an average salary increase of 131% after completing the Lancaster MBA.
