[photopress:changchun.jpg, full, alignright]Langham Hotels has signed a management contract for the Langham Place Hotel, Changchun. The management contract was signed with Changchun Jinzuo Real Estate Development for a new five-star hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2009 in downtown Changchun. This is Langhams second new hotel announcement within the past three months following the Langham Place Hotel, Chaoyang, Beijing.
The new hotel in Changchun is located in the commercial district of Changchun, a city of seven million people and the capital city of Jilin Province in North East China. The hotel is at the intersection of Changjiang Road and People’s Street, the city’s most prosperous precinct, and is a five minute walk away from the Changchun Railway Station. The hotel forms a part of the Jinzuo Building — the tallest landmark building in Jilin Province — which houses the Langham Place Hotel, 5A-rated offices and an integrated shopping complex developed by Changchun Jinzuo Group.
The five-star 34-story hotel has 350 bedrooms and suites plus 100 serviced apartments. The hotel also has 3,000 square meters of multi-purpose function space which makes it a MICE hotel.
