Chinese PC maker Lenovo continues to seek takeover targets despite a slowing economy and two failed acquisition bids, the South China Morning Post reported, citing comments from the company’s CEO. "We will continue to consider merger and acquisition opportunities which could help realize our strategy," Yang Yuanqing said on Tuesday. Yang said the company would aggressively seek "new growth engines" for sales in emerging markets such as India, Russia and Brazil, though he declined to comment on specific acquisition targets. Reports from Brazil said that Lenovo had renewed interest in buying Positivo Informatica, the country’s largest PC marker, and had raised its previous offer price.
