Liu Chuanzhi, chairman of Lenovo (0992.HK), said his company will focus on the development of its LePad and LePhone products to better compete with Apple (AAPL.NYSE), Bloomberg reported. "We have an extreme focus on the innovation of LePad and LePhone because these products will dominate the future market," Liu said at a conference in Davos, Switzerland. Apple began sales of the iPhone and iPad in China in 2010 and is the market leader. "Though Apple is winning a significant share in the Chinese market, it has not gained a clearly leading position yet. Our advantage is we know this market better," Liu said. Lenovo began sales of LePhone in mainland China last May and will roll out its LePad by the end of the first quarter this year.
