Joining GM, BMW and others on the mainland recall trail, Toyota Motor said it had begun a recall of over 1,700 Lexus luxury cars because of suspected defective fuel pumps causing vehicles to lose power. Bloomberg said the recall concerns Lexus LS430 sedans made between July 29, 2003, and March 8 last year.
