China and Pakistan should cooperate to modernize Pakistan’s power infrastructure, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said during a state visit to Islamabad on Wednesday, Reuters reported. “Our two sides should focus on carrying out priority projects in connectivity, energy development and power generation and promoting the building of a China-Pakistan economic corridor,” Li said. The visit to Pakistan is the second leg of Li’s first foreign trip since taking office in March. The countries aim to increase bilateral trade to US$15 billion in two to three years from US$12 billion last year.
