The technology group The Linde Group has officially launched the development of its latest gases production and supply infrastructure in yet another industrial hub in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu. The new development is part of Linde’s on-going gases supply investment schemes in the province’s belt of industrial hubs.
Its RMB150 million gases infrastructure development in Changzhou National Hi-tech District will start with Linde building a nitrogen generator with a capacity of 15,000 normal cubic metres per hour (Nm3/h).
After its completion, the new plant will supply industrial gases to multiple industrial companies in CND via a 20 kilometer (km) long pipeline supply network. Linde has to date secured gases supply contracts to more
than 10 customers in CND, and is expected to begin
supply by the third quarter of 2009.
CND has very convenient transportation network by air, water, road and rail. The Shanghai-Nanjing Railway is in the south, and the Yangtze River in the north. Shanghai is 100 miles away in the east, and Nanjing is 70 miles away in the west.
