Lufthansa cargo carrier approved

The General Administration for Civil Aviation of China gave the green light to Lufthansa Cargo's joint venture with Shenzhen Airlines and DEG, a unit of Cologne-based financial giant KfW, to create Jade Cargo International, China's first foreign held airline. Jade now needs to secure an operating license before beginning service out of its Shenzhen hub next year.
