Chinese search site Baidu.com has struck a deal with Microsoft to sell advertising for MSN and other sites owned by the US company, Reuters reported. Under the terms of the deal, details of which emerged as Baidu made a filing with the US securities regulators, Microsoft will display Baidu's paid search listings results on some of its web sites in China. Microsoft launched its own paid search advertising system, AdCenter, earlier this year in the US, UK, France and Singapore and plans to expand into other countries. Although, Google and Yahoo dominate the global internet search market, Baidu is the major player in China.
