Vice-Premier Zeng Peiyan told a China-US business forum the government is working on plans to set up a development fund to help SMEs widen their source of funding. He also said the government would explore ways to promote venture capital activity and encourage businesses to list on overseas stock markets. National Development and Reform Commission data indicates SMEs employ 75% of China's labor force and generate 55% of its GDP.
