MySpace China CEO Luo Chan has just quit.
It is strongly suggested that the person pulling the strings who will be the next head of MySpace is Wendi Deng the attractive and ambitious wife of owner Rupert Murdoch.
She already has the appointment of ‘chief strategist’ for MySpace China, the media conglomerate’s Internet outpost.
The title ‘chief strategist’ could be read as the power behind the throne.
It is now very likely that Wendi Deng will move from being the power behind the throne to being the head of MySpace in China.
It will be interesting to watch the final result.
