Hilton has signed a new agreement to operate the Hilton Hangzhou Qianjiang in China which should open in 2014. The 300-room hotel will be a first for Hilton in Hangzhou and it will be owned by Zhejiang Huafon Real Estate Development, which is a consortium of three local companies.
The new hotel will be in the landmark Dicara Golden Tower which is 200 meters tall and in Hangzhou that is a very tall building. The area of Qianjiang where the hotel will be opened is a planned new business district.
Basically, the hotel will be both a MICE hotel in that it includes meeeting rooms and large board rooms, and a resort hotel in that there will be a spa, indoor swimming pool and all the trimmings.
