Japanese truck maker Nissan Diesel Motor Co said it seeks to raise its China sales by nearly tenfold in four years, and would double its stakes from 25% to 50% in its Chinese joint venture, Dongfeng Nissan Diesel Motor Co, to meet that target, according to media reports. Nissan Diesel, about 24%-owned by Nissan Motor Co, said it aimed to sell 8,000 trucks in China in 2008, up from 840 units in 2004.
