Nissan Diesel aims to increase China sales

Japanese truck maker Nissan Diesel Motor Co said it seeks to raise its China sales by nearly tenfold in four years, and would double its stakes from 25% to 50% in its Chinese joint venture, Dongfeng Nissan Diesel Motor Co, to meet that target, according to media reports. Nissan Diesel, about 24%-owned by Nissan Motor Co, said it aimed to sell 8,000 trucks in China in 2008, up from 840 units in 2004.
