When Barack Obama and Xi Jinping meet next week in California, the US president will press China’s leader on his country’s alleged cyberhacking campaign, Financial Times reported. According to a confidential report prepared for the Pentagon, the design of more than 30 weapons systems have been “compromised” by Chinese hackers. Among the list of top-secret weapons is the US Navy’s advanced littoral combat ship and missile batteries – both intended to respond to China’s growing military capabilities. A spokesperson for the Pentagon was quoted as denying that cyber intrusions have compromised the capabilities or technical edge of the US military.
