US President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed cyber attacks between the two countries, North Korea and trade issues in a phone call on Thursday, Reuters reported. Obama and Xi agreed to hold discussions about the hackings, which each country has accused the other of. The US business community has increasingly come forward with reports of cyber security breaches traced back to China, raising concerns of intellectual property theft. Obama congratulated Xi on assuming the Chinese presidency and additionally expressed support for China’s commitment to easing control on its exchange rate.
