[photopress:hacker.jpg,full,alignright]Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said China has always opposed to and forbidden all sorts of criminal activities that could break down computer networks, including hacker activities.
She made the remarks when asked to comment on recent German media reports that held Chinese hacker accountable for attacking the computer networks of German government departments.
Jiang noted Chinese laws and regulations have clear provisions forbidding such computer-related criminal activities.
She said hacker attack is an international issue and China was also a victim. She said China has established sound cooperation mechanism with many countries in the world to jointly combat crimes related to computer networks adding that China hopes to strengthen such cooperation with Germany.
