[photopress:Panda_burns_joss_sticks_virus_1_2_3.jpg,full,alignright]Shanghai Information & Security Service Platform states there may be a new mutation virus of ‘panda burning joss stick’, called CW.

The CW virus may infect both executable files and files on the websites, destroy files and data in hard disks, spread itself through local area networks, and finally, break the whole net down.

Since its mutation may break out at any time, the virus has been listed as A-level virus by Jiangmin, one of China’s major anti-virus companies.

Cell phones are becoming a new battlefield for viruses, especially during the Lunar New Year holidays, as the virus mainly spread via short messages and downloading.
