A panel of experts is to be assembled to undertake a new round of feasibility studies for the proposed high-speed railway project between Beijing and Shanghai. Sources at the Ministry of Railways declined to give details about how the review would be conducted, apart from saying that evaluation would be conducted on a scientific basis.
