PBOC official mentions rate hike

An official involved with policy at China's central bank said that China may raise interest rates if the consumer price index exceeds 5%. Li Yang, a member of the People's Bank of China's monetary policy committee, made the statement days after China's consumer price index reached a seven-year high of 3.8%.
