Power transfers complete in China and Hong Kong

Chinese President Hu Jintao was named chairman of the State Central Military Commission, completing the power transfer from former leader Jiang Zemin. Hu now holds all the top posts as head of the party, military and state. In Hong Kong, following Tung Chee-hwa's resignation as the territory's chief executive, Chief Secretary Donald Tsang was appointed acting CE until a new one is elected on July 10.
