Private airline approved by CAAC

The Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) announced that it approved United Eagle (Yinglian) Airlines Co to launch operations. United Eagle is the first privately owned airline approved by CAAC to operate in China. The CAAC's director said that there were other domestic companies eager to establish an airline in China, but the approval process would be slow due to safety concerns.
