QFII quota to expand

China's watchdog agency promised to increase the investment quota for qualified foreign institutional investors (QFIIs) in a multi-pronged effort to boost the flagging stock market, state media reported. Without specifying a timeline, Shang Fulin, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, told a press conference that the pilot program would expand and steadily increase the investment quota.
