QQ to enter CRM service market

[photopress:QQ_PS.jpg,full,alignright]QQ, being the most popular Internet Messenger (IM) client in China, has been used by many local companies as an efficient way to communicate with their customers online. Some companies even have to maintain several QQ account simultaneously, because they reach the limit of number of buddies a single user can have on a QQ account and need more room.

Now, QQ plans to launch a small business-targeted CRM (Customer Relationship Management) service.

QQ CRM service started its test phase in May with about a thousand users. Basically it is QQ with unlimited buddies and each account having sub-accounts. And there are some analytics tools for companies to better manage customer relationships.

It seems a remarkably obvious step forward for QQ and it would be a safe bet that many small to medium services will take up the idea.
