Airbus announced it will launch a “regional” version of its A330 jet at an airshow in China today, Reuters reported. New aircrafts will be adapted for shorter and more frequent flights. Industry sources said that the company would show the new version of the A330 at the Beijing Aviation Expo. The company’s sale chief also said that he would make product announcements at the Expo. In June, Boeing (BA.NYSE) launched its own short-range aircraft called the 787-10.
