Citing industry sources, state media reported 3G mobile licenses would be issued to China Mobile, China Netcom Communications and China Telecom at RMB20bn apiece after a sector shake-up that would see China Unicom wound up and its mobile operations split between China Telecom's GSM network and Unicom's CDMA network.
