Retail sales of consumer goods in China grew 18.7% year-on-year in November, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said.
By value, retail sales of consumer goods stood at RMB1.39 trillion (US$208.5 billion) in November, up 0.1 percentage points from October, NBS spokesman Sheng Laiyun said at a press conference.
Retail sales of consumer goods in the first 11 months reached RMB13.92 trillion, up 18.4% from the same period last year. The growth rate in the first 11 months was 0.1 percentage points higher than that of the first 10 months.
English.news.cn reported the NBS as saying urban consumption was RMB1.2 trillion in November, up 19% year-on-year.
