Rolls-Royce to supply Air China

Rolls-Royce Group Plc, the world's second-largest maker of aircraft engines, won a US$800m contract to supply Air China Ltd, the nation's largest airline, with jet engines for 20 new aircraft, Reuters reported. With bids on 20 South China Airlines engines and increasing sales to China, Rolls-Royce hopes to overtake General Electric as the top supplier to the US$35bn engine market.
