A proposal to outlaw sexual harassment of men and women in the workplace will be on the agenda next week when the National People's Congress Standing Committee meets for its 27th session. The proposal put forward by an NPC delegate from Chongqing will be debated as part of the draft Labor Contract Law when the committee members meet for a four-day session from April 24, the South China Morning Post reported. The committee members also will discuss for the first time proposed laws on urban and rural planning and animal immunization. The State Council has been working on the urban and rural planning law draft since 2005 because the present version, passed in 1990, regards planning as a technical issue rather than public policy.
