Salary check on senior execs

Senior executives in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China's most developed business centers, earn an average US$9,500 a year and work 10 hours a day, a survey of 2,600 SME executives by CTR Market Research has found. Companies polled were on the small end of the small- and medium-sized scale with an average annual budget of RMB2m (US$240,000). The survey showed two thirds of senior executives are male.
