Satyam opens software center in China

[photopress:Satyam_logo.gif,full,alignright]This is an indication of change in that India’s Satyam Computer Services, a software services exporter, has opened up a software center in China in an attempt to cut costs.

Satyam will employ 500 people before the end of of the year. B. Rama Raju, chief executive officer, said the company plans to increase the number of employed to 1,000 next year and to 3,000 in 2009. He said, ‘We feel at a later point of time that China will be very cost-effective.’
