Shanghai Electric Company, one of China's largest power generation equipment makers, says it plans to list on the Hong Kong stock exchange next month, with expectations to raise up to RMB4bn (US$482m). It intends to use the money for R&D, production and operational investment, state media reported, citing a senior company official. Credit Suisse First Boston has been named as its global advisor.
