Shangri-La Hotel opens in Guilin

March 18, 2010

The new Shangri-La Hotel in Guilin is a classic, Chinese-style property and is located on the banks of the Li River. It is also the first hotel in the region to offer an outdoor swimming pool.

The property offers 449 rooms, three restaurants, two bars, an 1,800sqm Grand Ballroom with capacity for 2,000 delegates (which makes it a MICE hotel), and six meeting rooms.

Conference and Incentive Travel states that Guilin attractions include Elephant-Trunk Hill, Pagoda Hill and the Forest of Odd-Shaped Peaks. No doubt others will follow.
