Airbus said it awarded Shenyang Aircraft Corp and National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corp a US$40m order to make forward cargo doors for A330 and A340 aircraft. The contract is part of a US$100 million agreement Airbus signed in June with the China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I), the parent of Shenyang Aircraft. A veteran door maker, Shenyang Aircraft also has a venture with Boeing building emergency doors.
