Shenzhen International Airport’s passenger traffic in August rose 11.9% from a year earlier to 2.37 million, while cargo throughput was about 70,500 tons, up 32.1% from the same month last year. The number of aircraft takeoffs and landings rose 9.7% year-on-year to 18,900. China.org.cn reported that the airport’s passenger traffic volume from January to August this year rose to 17.9 million, up 11.9% from the same period last year. Cargo throughput climbed 38.4% year-on-year to 51,680 tons while the number of aircraft movements rose 9.8% to 14,560.
