Shenzhen Port’s container year-on-year throughput decreased by 19.79% on-year in June 2009 which was larger than the decrease in May by 3.35 percentage points.
The port’s cargo throughput volume totalled 15.79 million tons in June. For the first half 2009, Shenzhen Port recorded cargo transport volume of 87.68 million tons, decreasing by 16.6% year-on-year.
CargoNews Asia noted that the foreign trade cargo throughput volume decreased by 20.31% year-on-year.
