China-based Red Flag Software and Japan's Miracle Linux Corporation announced that they will develop inexpensive and secure Linux solutions for the Asian market. Red Flag is the leading Linux operating system vendor in China. Miracle Linux is Japan's top provider of Linux server operating systems.
The two companies signed a strategic partnership to jointly develop Linux products in three major areas: server operating environment, joint support and the desktop operating system. The companies will set up at Oracle's China Development Center in Beijing.
